Hotline & Ombudsman

PEI provides reasonably priced external hotline/ombudsman services to clients.These services are available to all clients valuing an outside, independent sourceto assist management in dealing with ethics-related issues. Use of an external hotline/ombudsman has proven particularly valuable to those firms under compliance agreements. Men and women serving as ombudsmen respond to calls, investigate as necessary, and seek resolution among affected parties. Reports are given to corporate leadership and, if required, to government oversight agencies. Maintaining an external hotline/ombudsman service also demonstrates to government oversight agencies the continuing commitment to high ethical and legal standards by corporate leadership, whether under compliance agreements or not.
